On the walk to the mail I saw my beautiful field of Grandma's flowers. It is amazing how far they have spread as I only took a few roots of them so many years ago. They are popping up all over the place. Heather told me she thought she killed the pot of acconites I gave her last year but she found them blooming in the pot.
Part of the Bed Time Story night was wearing jammies. He pulled out a tighty pair that I asked him to not wear. Then he put on a footie pair which he played in outside for a bit while I was inside. I pulled out a rake so I could get started on the garden clean up. In the end he changed into a third pair he could wear shoes with and off we went.
The kids were divided into groups and sent to rooms to hear a book being read. This book was about a bear hunt and she had them participating moving their hands with the movements in the book. Thankfully he was with Curtis, Landon and Zayden's group.
In the second room I sat with Molly and Sabrina's mom and played with Sabrina while the book was being read. She was playing with my phone and turned on Instagram. I asked her if she wanted me to take a selfie, which I just did anyway. But I did not post it any where but here.
The last room we went into was Mrs Healy and apparently all the boys adore her. I had to shame Baylor into voting for his teacher's decorated door because he was going to vote for hers. All the doors were decorated in the theme of a Dr Seuss book and we all were able to vote, students and parents.
I voted for Mrs Anderson's of course. Class pride you know. Looking back I guess I should have let him vote for his choice. He is not going to make me vote for his choice in any elections. Lesson learned.
After voting, the teachers were serving milk and cookies for the kids. It was fun seeing Baylor in his element and enjoying his time with his friends. And just being with him of course!
