Baylor spent the day after New Year's at Kartikey's because they were still off school. I am so glad they are such good friends, they even wear the same shirt!

I sometimes run into Heidi when I am shopping at Aldi. I have not seen her much in the last few years and I love when we catch up at the bagging counter. She is doing well, but getting older like we all are.

An evening train, we do not run into those as often as the morning trains.
I took Baylor, Kartikey, Akshat, and his brother in law to the Farm Show this year. Greeva was working and had to miss out on our fun.
But we sent her a lot of photos of us having fun!
We had some bean dip for dinner and Roxie was super interested in it.

Mom and Dad came over on my birthday and took me out to lunch at Pizza Grill. Yummy!!
We split a piece of peanut butter pie for dessert. It was delicious.
Time for a haircut for Baylor as well. Though I was not completely happy with his results.

We do not make it to the dog park too often anymore but when we do it is with our friends. Sam is not a kissing dog.

We gave away the loft bed in Baylor's room and put the queen bed in there for when he has friends over. We have had the LED star light sting since Baylor was two. I think he will enjoy them in his room.

Both dogs sleeping with their toys. Roxie loves her red football. She kills the squeaker in about five minutes but still loves it even when it is silent.
My evening free time was spent finishing Baylor's blanket. It has been 11 years in the making!! And several color changes because by the time I would work on it again, he was bigger, I needed more yarn and the yard was discontinued. I would find any color other than pink or purple that was available and buy whatever they had.
Must be a Friday drive home!
My only New Year's resolution was to have a Sunday Supper once a month with family or friends. Mom and Dad were first in January. We taught Baylor how to make schnitzel, which is one of my favorite meals.
I made spatzel, braised red cabbage, and German Apple cake to go with our German theme meal. It was all delicious!!
Snow fun!!
January 29th, I did not have fun in the snow. I actually slipped getting the mail and hurt my shoulder. We went to OSS right away and the Xrays did not show any breaks. But I could not be tested for rotator cuff damage because I could not raise my arm more than a few inches. I was given a sling and anti-inflammatories and told to come back in a week. I

The two days later, I could only raise it up that far, but that was better than the day before.

Getting better but I have no strength and cannot raise it any further. But the anti-inflammatories were helping my knees, they have not felt better!!!
