No Camera for at least two weeks

    My entries are usually photo loaded and light on words but not for the next few weeks.  I think my budding photographer mangled the flash on his last photo shoot through the kitchen as the flash no longer pops up when needed.  It releases and pulls up a bit but has to be manually flipped up the rest of way.  Well, that cannot be. So after a stop at The Christmas Tree Shoppe and Hobby Lobby, where I think I spent half of my tax return, we headed to Grandma and Buddy's house.  There is a camera shop in their town and we needed a visit with them anyway. After a delicious lunch of chicken and rice soup with lots of carrots, Baylor's favorite soup, he decided to stay home with Buddy while Grandma and I went out.  It was the first time he has ever chosen to stay there and not go with me.  It was a good thing on many levels. 

     We left without a word and headed to the camera shop.  The man at the shop did the same things I did to try to fix it and it did not work for them either, shocking as that was.  So the next step is to send it out for repair which involves mailing it somewhere, getting an estimate, repairing, and sending it back to the camera shop. I am going to Baltimore Aquarium in two weeks and really hope it is done by then. And that my parents can deliver it to me!  If not, the old point and shoot it is!  It has done a good job in the past and will be fine again!  I know I will be going through camera withdrawl and I hopefully the old camera will help me through it! 

    After the camera shop, we dropped of some goods at the local reuse it shop and headed to the dented can store we love, The Sharp Shopper.  Love that place for the bulk food aisle and the oddball things I can find there.  We had a nice shopping trip finding lots of food treasures and headed home.  We went in the house and it was really quiet so we thought they might be napping.  We tip toed through the house only to discover we could not find them. Then I saw Buddy outside and apparently we drove past them in the front yard and never saw them.  I went out and helped them finish weeding the front flower beds.  Wish I had that much help with my ,but since I was on the one to put in their beds when they moved into the house, I feel it is partly my job to weed them anyway.  We played inside, Baylor's favorite game there is catch and they have a good house to run in.  Last week we were playing catch and I went to roll across the bed to get away, misjudged the width of the bed and landed on the floor.  The parts that hit the floor were fine the the inside of me knee that landed on the corner of a sturdy basket has a bruise that is nearly as big as my hand.  I do have a photo of it but the camera is not here, alas!  Anyway, I only rolled over their bed once and it is a king size and I had plenty of room.  Buddy played hide and seek and we had a hard time finding him.  We put Easter window clings on their sliding glass doors and decorated a Dollar Tree Easter tree with Dollar Tree Easter eggs. Little boys love doing that stuff with their grandmas! 

     It was a long day and we headed home around 5.  He was asleep within 20 minutes but woke up in the driveway and has been wired ever since.  After Bob the Builder, we are getting jammies, brushing teeth, and calming down for bed.  We do loose an hour of sleep tonight!
