Lucas and his Mommies did! They come up the highway by us on their way to visit family and ended up staying at a hotel less than a mile from where I work. We had planned to have dinner together and we ended up going to their hotel room to get them and then going to T.X Roadhouse! It was a good meal, meat and veggies yum and totally over my calories for the day! We invited them over for a bit so the boys could play and not have to be chased around by us and then we could visit more. Lucas made himself right at home which is just the way we like it.
The boys got along really well again and it was so good to see them playing with each other.
He loved going in the doghouse, as Baylor calls it. He needed help with the ladder but after that he was having fun going in the house and then down the slide.
See Julie peeking out from inside the house? I think I have the same photos of our other friend Julie in the dog house too. It was really great meeting her and we all had a really good time getting to know each other.
What goes up the ladder must come down the slide.
They were here about an hour and it was starting to get dark and cold. Lori has to work tomorrow and her car was still parked at my work. Tara and Julie took her back to get it and then they also had no trouble getting back to their hotel. Tomorrow they are heading to NY for Easter and I don't thinkwe will see them on the way down because of the time they are leaving. But we will be planning a get together very soon. Two visits in three days and to think we had never met in the real world until Monday.
