Baltimore Aquarium with Lucas and Tara Part II

Picking up where I left off....

We loved the anemones, where Nemo and Marlin live.

And found the photos of the angler fish, also in Nemo.  Being a deep sea fish, they cannot have real ones at the aquarium but Baylor was just as happy to tell the two teenage girls that they were angler fish and were very mean. And was as matter a fact as a three year old can be. 

We did not notice unitl we were higher up that the turtle was missing his left front fin.  Poor Crush! 

And we saw four Syndeys in the tanks.  Baylor thinks the guy that catches Nemo is named Sydney, not P. Sherman.  So all men in scuba gear are named Sydney. 

And we saw giant fish.

And turtles that never moved the entire time we watched them. 

I forget what was in here but the boys loved being able to stand up on the ledges. 

See the orange arms and tail.  There were a few monkeys but they were all draped over something so we could not get a good look at them.  The rain forest was hot and humid, as it should be and poor Tara had the back pack on!  She was pretty hot by the time we headed down. 

Here we all are. Baylor is holding Lori's hand. 

There is a catwalk between the buildings and we let the boys run down the hall.  I think Lucas loved the chase! 

We stopped for lunch as we all needed a break and little kids get hungry angry if they don't eat.  But this sweet face was a great sport about everything.

The dolphin tank was near the eating area and we watched them under water.  We decided to hold off on the show because we were not sure they would be able to sit still that long.  It was probably a good choice! 

I love how it looks like the dolphin is coming to see Baylor but he was really heading up over his head.  There must have been a trainer right over us. 

The boys loved watching the dolphins and were really interacting with each other. 

I took Baylor into see the jellies because I knew he would love them but the rest of the gang stayed out.  The dolphin show had just let out and the room was packed.  

Lucas was at the end of his two year old rope and after the jellies we headed out to the gift shop. Lucas picked out a beautiful pink dolphin and Baylor got a sea animal set that will most likely end up in the sand box.
