Tonight was the first night of the Lisburn Community Firehall Old Fashioned Fair. When I got home, Lori had already picked up supper and they were eating on the deck. I changed, had my supper also and we headed over to the fair. Baylor was so excited! Meme could barely keep up with him.
The first was the pony ride. The horse was a bit scittish which worried me but Baylor held on staying in the saddle for the ride.
Baylor still loves his meme second to me. They have been buddies all week and she had to slip away while he was at the fair so it was easier for him. When she arrived on Monday Baylor met me at the door telling me Meme was here and staying forever. In two weeks Lori is taking him to Meme's for a few days.
He tired the ring toss but sadly we did not win a soda.
His first ride was the motorcycles. He was making such a face for most of the ride but he was looking down and I could not get it. Lori called it his Harely face. It was a bad ass motorcycle rider face.
We bought tickets for the rides and of course all he was interested in was the swing set. Which was the only swing he could go on because he was a smidge too short for the swing ride.
But he could do the fun house and is a pro pirate climbing the rope ladder.
And not afraid of the tube slide.
Or the firetrucks
where ringing the bell was half the fun.
In the kids game tent we did all ten games and he won a piece of candy at each game. It is already all gone.
There were not as many tractors as in past years and we did not wait outside for the tractor parade.
We have tickets left over for the next too nights and I know we will have more fun!
